PROFILE Based in Dalby on the Darling Downs in Queensland, Australia, the company began in 1991 as Walton Electrical. In mid 2001, the company name was changed to "Condamine Electric Company Pty Ltd" (CEC) combining both switchboard design and manufacturing with contracting and installation work. Condamine Electric Company Pty Ltd (CEC) specialises in electrical design, switchboard manufacture, installation and maintenance. CEC prides itself on high quality workmanship and long lasting installations. We have a strong emphasis on professionalism in our company and have undertaken quality assurance certification (AS/NZS ISO 9001) and workplace health and safety implementation (AS 4801). Our staff comprises of a managing director, eighteen electrical staff, and three administrative staff. We currently have seven apprentices spread over four years of training. CEC recognises the difficulties in acquiring skilled personnel and have opted for the long term solution of training local people, again indicating our commitment towards a stable and expanding work force. We see a skilled stable workforce as being the cornerstone of our ability to meet and exceed our clients requirements. With the ever increasing need for information and monitoring of the environment and equipment, CEC has employed a full time Flow meter specialist to handle the demand for the supply and installation of MACE instruments to private users, Government and non Government water authorities. CEC is a registered distributor of all Mace equipment. In addition to being a Mace distributor, we also stock and supply a wide range of CMG products including electric motors for both commercial and industrial purposes. CEC sees safety as paramount and are eager to adopt any additional safety procedures or requirements of its clients. As a minimum, all CEC personnel are safety inducted into the Company using current Workplace Health and Safety procedures and manuals. All site workers have construction industry safety tickets (blue card) with a number of our staff holding confined spaces, forklift, bobcat and elevated work platform certification.
